LEVEL: INTRODUCTION

Build the confidence to operate manual milling machines safely and accurately. This practical course gives you the core skills needed to set up a machine, work from technical drawings, use different cutters and work holding methods, and produce accurate machined features. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to safely set up and use a milling machine to complete common workshop tasks, including slots, steps, holes, threads and angled features.

  • Workpiece setting ( machine vice, table, angle plate)
