The MTC is at the forefront of technological advancements, and apprentices that train on our apprenticeship programme at the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre (AMTC) are exposed to these new and emerging technologies, adding value to your organisation.
Through our partnership with Lloyds Bank, MTC Training has access to a new £1 million annual fund to deliver high-value engineering apprenticeships to eligible SMEs. The fund supports the future skills needed by local engineering and manufacturing businesses to help create the next generation of engineers central to the future economic success of the region.

Provided that your chosen candidate meets the programme selection criteria, they could be enrolled within weeks and in time for our next intake in September.
What is the cost to my business?
MTC Training can support your business through the Apprenticeship Levy.
- 0.5% of your pay bill will go towards the apprentice levy if your annual pay bill is £3 million+
- Over the duration of the apprenticeship, our Product Design & Development Standard is funded at £26,000 of levy funding
- £1,000 government incentive is available for employing a 16 to 18-year-old
