Do I get paid?

Yes! Being able to earn while you learn is one of the great benefits of an apprenticeship. You will be paid by your employer – your starting salary will typically be between £150 and £300 per week.

Our apprenticeships typically start between September and November each year, and we also have a January intake for our Level 2 programme. We are open to applications throughout the year, starting each October, for courses starting the following academic year.

Our Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship takes 15 months to complete.

You will be based at your employer’s location and travel to MTC Liverpool regularly for additional training.

Ideally, candidates will already have achieved English and maths at GCSE grade 2 or Functional Skills Level 1. If not, Functional Skills Level 1 in English and maths will be included in the apprenticeship programme.
