Over 7 weeks, you’ll be supported in building fundamental engineering skills and professional confidence. The programme combines online learning with hands-on sessions at OAS (Oxfordshire Advanced Skills) in Culham.

Is the programme really free?
Yes, the pre-apprenticeship is fully funded for anyone who is able to attend the in-person sessions at OAS, Culham Campus.
Do I need engineering experience?
No experience is needed. The course is designed for beginners, career changers and first-time learners.
What qualification will I gain?
You’ll receive a Level 2 Industrial Environmental Awareness Certificate.
How long is the programme?
The programme runs for 7 weeks and includes online and face-to-face learning.
